October 31, 2010 HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Yes!! Happy Halloween, here is 7 pounds shed!!

I lost 7 pounds this week, and I'll be honest... I missed a day of exercise, and I ate candy yesterday. Imagine what next week will be like if I don't eat candy and I don't miss any exercising!!!
I did, however, count my calories every single day this week, and I kept it under 1800 for every single day. 
I feel pretty dang good about myself, and I can't wait to do it again next week.

Tomorrow starts the beginning of a 14 month period where I will lose 93 lbs by January of 2012. (Last week was a practice run for me and my roommate, and we BOTH lost weight) Tomorrow we will start marking on our sticker calendars for every day we do what we're supposed to. These are the requirements:
MWF we do 30 minutes of cardio
T TH we do 15-20 minutes of weight training.
Every day we count our calories to the DOT and we have to keep it under our specified amount. (as i said before, my amount is 1800 for the time being)

That is basically my plan for now... till next Sunday!!

Back to Reality

Dear Blog and people:
     So it's been about 2 months since I've logged on... and I feel really horrible. The good news is, I've lost 5 lbs!! (I pretty much lost that much in the last week ;)  
Me and my roommate have devised a plan to lose weight together... and here's the plan:
We have until the first  of January 2012 to meet our weight loss goals. (I need to lose about 95 lbs by then, making it about 7 to 8 lbs lost in a month)We are basically starting on Monday the 1st of November, and I will blog weekly about what I've done and if I've lost or if I've gained.

We have monthly goal points, a halfway goal point, and then our end goal point... being 2012. If we have met our goals by Jan of 2012, then that April, we will go to Disneyworld together... just the two of us!

This past week was basically a practice week to get us into the habit of counting calories every day, and working out every day. And this week, i lost 5 lbs so far. 
I will blog on Sunday of every week to track my progress, and to keep the world updated. 

For some reason I feel so much more motivated to do this, (and it might have to do with a certain cleansing of bad influences in my life) but I actually want to! I can only imagine how much better I am going to feel once I'm done, and how much better I will look, and how much more my body can do, and the less sick I will get. Plus, I do not want to someday develop type 2 diabetes... because that would just be a nightmare.
